for the life of me i cannot shave off those seconds no matter what vehicle and loadout and character i use. i will use the exact same build and route as someone who did get an S rank and will still be ~5 seconds shy.

crossworlds has the best driving mechanics and game feel of any sonic racing game since the original riders
BUT
it's $70 with a $30 season pass and the item pool and RNG are severely unbalanced to the point where races become unplayable chaos that reward sandbagging and item hoarding over skill

shadow generations is possibly the best 3D sonic game to release since 2001
BUT
it's $60 and only exists as a short side game packed in with an unnecessary sonic gens remaster

frontiers is a nice change of pace from what we've gotten before
BUT
the actual plot is very bare bones and everything takes a backseat to The Lore

off to a fantastic start here

i'm not having fun any more i've dealt with way too much bullshit in this game

"just play single player, online is toxic anyways" BUT I WAS ON SINGLE PLAYER. IT'S NOT IMMUNE TO BULLSHIT.

i have not said one single positive thing about crossworlds since launch

how can i return. i've been too poor to afford a switch 2 this entire time.

i actually HATE crossworlds. not even single player is safe from cheap bullshit.

we got:
- castle keys (acquired by beating bosses, necessary for unlocking the final level)
- gate keys (acquired by doing objectives in each world, necessary for unlocking other worlds and boss paths)
- chest keys (found in normal chests, used to unlock iron chests)

why did i make like three separate key collectibles with two of them being the main collectibles
