You are right. Healthcare should not be for profit, prisons should not be for profit, immigration should not be for profit, elections should not be for profit, and on and on. Forcing profit into the government and politics is so wrong. Sigh.

So they block ACA subsidies which will put health insurance out of the reach for a massive number of hard working people, plus raise rates for everyone else, and now try to blame "illegals?" Maybe they are the illegals because of the laws they are ignoring and breaking. Sigh.

I am so glad you got the all clear! The breast center I use has patients sit in a private waiting room outside the rooms with the mammogram machines while a radiologist reads the results - it is uncomfortable to sit in the little gowns, but if something is off, they test right away which is great.

He still thinks the cognitive function test is some sort of IQ test doesn't he? Contrary to what he believes, most people can pass that test which is why it is used to figure out when someone is showing signs of dementia. Can we change to another timeline soon, this one sucks.

"What is that horrible smell???" as I turned to music back up just as Peter Murphy said "Bela Lugosi's Dead" - we all burst out laughing saying that it was such a perfect moment! My kids were in their late teens and already such fans of Bauhaus - we still chuckle about the perfection.

Years ago my kids and I were on a road trip and listening to tons of mix tapes (we all loved the same music), when the freeway traffic suddenly slowed down. I turned the music down to focus, and then we opened our windows as we crept along. Suddenly there was this horrific stench and I said:
