i'm currently waiting for my car to be charged in a Fred Meyer this morning after--of fucking course--visiting a fast charger at 6:30 am to find all the spots are taken.

the (again honestly vastly underpaid) front desk worker and i go to the office next door, owned by the hotel, unscrew a bolted-down outside power outlet, and plug in.
i sleep in my car for the first time.

i walk into the lobby and explain my whole Deal.
the. honestly vastly underpaid. overnight front desk worker. and i go over some options. they are basically "get towed" or "who knows when you can charge". i'm the most stressed i have ever been since starting prozac

so i'm looking for Anything. closest i find is a hotel nearby--two chargers, i can stay the night and recharge, then leave in the morning. that's the plan then!

i get to the hotel. one charger is taken. the other is broken. the range estimate on my car is "---".

...when i arrive in the lot with three percent battery and wonder where the hell the charging stations are.

charger i plan to use is at a walmart. this went great on the way up, so i can just use the same thing in the way back. i'm at 95 percent charge so everything is cool.

i put the wrong walmart into waze. i do not realize this until two hours later.
