I wonder how many people out there are equating the term with "rich-lite" and it's concerning tbh. We don't just hate the rich because they are rich, we hate the rich because they got rich by being willing to exploit other people for that wealth.

Remember, we call cops "class traitors" because they are selling their labor power for the interests of the ruling class, instead of the working class they come from. They are prole serving bourg interests. It's all about which side of the class war you stand with, regardless of your labor in it.

So if someone is using "petite bourgeois" to insult you and suggest you are rich-lite, they are using the term improperly and don't have a true understanding of the concept.

Being petite bourgeois also does not mean you are automatically part of the ruling class (or rich!) in fact you are likely to be reduced to the prole class by the rate of profit to fall anyway.

I fear that the common understanding of "petite bourgeoisie" is synonymous with "rich-lite" when that is not at all what it means. The term is simply a descriptor of your relation to the means of production and whether you must sell your labor power for wages or not.

Yes!! I have washed mine once before to test and they wash up nicely! But yes, delicate cycle with cold only, absolutely no dryer! Must air dry, and I'd recommend having a fan pointed at it too cause they were HEAVY when damp and need all the help to dry out lol!

the reason I am listing these rugs on etsy at all is specifically so I can sell to those of you in the UK who have asked 🫶 I have listed 20 of each design, and after a couple of weeks I will likely remove the listing from etsy all together. I'll put out another post before I do!
