Love this for him, and for all of you who called your congresspeople and pushed for release of the files! 🏆🏆🏆

Noticing flaws is easy. Coalition building is hard.

This person is doing something far more brave than most of us will ever, ever do and should be commended -- not belittled for her voting choices.

He should crowdsource online liberals, who have loved insulting her for years.

Trump will disrupt the results but let the election look legit. Hacks don’t require seizing equipment.

Seizing voting machines paints a vivid picture, but I’m far more worried about a peaceful and orderly voting experience that yields false results.

Trump sent Guiliani, et al, to steal software in Coffee County GA for a reason! Nothing was done about it and now Trump has pardoned the bad actors.
November 16, 2025 at 12:03 AM
Yet article says nothing about widespread dependence on vulnerable software. Threats of seized equipment and snatching up voters is more compelling copy.

Hand marked ballots and robust audits are essential!

Grabbing voting machines or snatching voters out of line sound dramatic, but hackers can flip votes without a trace. We can’t even see alterations to code if the computers are instructed to erase it afterwards.

Hand marked ballots with robust audits are essential.
November 15, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Poll watching is important! But too many observers see orderly polling places and conclude hacking has not occurred. Vote flipping can happen without detection.

Now more than ever, we need hand-marked ballots and robust audits of those ballots.

Study up.
November 15, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Hacking digital voting equipment is far easier and more effective than seizing physical machines. Vote flipping can be undetectable and accomplished remotely.
The article is full of good intentions but let’s not get distracted.

We have never been able to know the political affiliations of private voting machine companies. This is one reason why coalitionforgoodgovernance.org

has been fighting for hand-marked ballots in GA since 2017.

People trust all kinds of stupid schemes.
Hope you will push NYT to run an OpEd or something to counter this terrible idea.

People trust copper bracelets to cure their arthritis. People trust ivermectin to cure their covid.

NYT needs to ask harder questions

Security and Reliability Concerns Around Internet Voting Outweigh Benefits | TechPolicy.Press
While the idea of internet voting is alluring, it comes with substantial reliability, security and privacy concerns, says Jalisa Giles.

People trust all sorts of things if they find them convenient. The better question is whether voting by phone is trustworthy: NO!

Like perpetual motion machines, internet voting is always being proposed by tech people trying to make money.
