Yes, and why are they standing like that?

Is that the normal posture for dickless braindead assholes?

Please, go nuts in the primaries. Absolutely destroy them. You have my vote. All the oldsters and DINOs need to go.

It's just that in the general, once you see there is no viable alternative, not voting for the Dems is voting for evil.

Most people are not capable of abstraction.

Good luck with that.

By the way, not "my party." It doesn't belong to anyone. And I am not in NY, so especially not my party there.

That looks really good, but the ciabatta was a mistake. I guess it was hot then, but ciabatta is more an exercise for your facial muscles than it is an enjoyable sandwich bread.

Just ask Ralph Nader.

You didn't buy something from them. They don't owe you anything. You can go Karen on them if you like, but it does no good.

The only thing that makes any difference is participating locally, and voting. Voting in the general for the only viable alternative to the GOP is the least you can do.

Threatening to take your vote elsewhere has very limited power in terms of changing behavior.

We can beat Target down until they relent.

We can't do that to a party, because we ARE the party. We the people. You either participate or accept your limited choices, but throwing a tantrum is pointless.

They are there to serve the country, at least they should be, but they are not there to serve YOU. Never have been. You don't vote for a politician like you buy something from a company. You can't take it back, there is no refund, and there is no warranty. It isn't that sort of relationship.

The Democratic Party is not a monolith. It's a collection of us, people trying to express their wills in terms of politics.

Too many Americans have a consumer attitude, like they expect service from a party. They aren't there to please you. You, however, can be there and be a solution.

I learned on one of these (more or less, 70-ish Chevy, I think), with a three on the tree.

It was a being thrown in the lake to learn to swim moment. I was just a kid but already a car nut and knew intellectually how to drive a manual, so I was thrown the keys and figured it out.

Anyone who joins the D party and actually participates in local politics will quickly learn that almost no one else does so, and simply being there gives instant access and significant decision-making power.

There are no easy answers, just work to be done.

If all someone does is vote, then they should vote Democrat until such real alternative party presents itself. The Greens in the U.S. have been nothing but a joke, essentially at this point being a paid spoiler party working for foreign and domestic enemies of democracy.

All set for winter?
Yup.
Checked your gutters?
Nope, leaves still falling.
First snow will tell you if they are clogged.
Yup.

Can a 4th grade class rule itself? Will little Donny the bully trick the slow readers to follow him while he exploits his power over all of them? Will the smart kids put the dumb ones in their place to maintain sane leadership?

Some things never change.
