I came across someone putting very cute plants out for free. I took as much as my guilt over hoarding would let me.

They had even put very very cute accessories in the pots.

Bonsai progress! 🌱

Finally gave up on the less vibrant sprout in the last week or two. No drastic changes or anything but still going... I think!?

Did some repotting this morning of a couple monstera. Restaked the big one.

Bonsai progress 🌱

Culled one sprout that wasn't really doing the thing.
Another progress shot of Jack pine sprouts in a peat pellet. There are now only two sprouts. One is fairly upright and the other is heavily leaning over. The upright one has three-quarter inch to one inch long needles that are now drooping down and the other has about half-inch needles still poking up from the stem.

Same bonsai peat pellet as in the quoted post, with the same 3 sprouts now free from their seedpod and with their leaves/needles and stems all higgledy piggledy and about 2 inches tall.

I bought a REAL basic bonsai kit at OMSI. Behold!
