At yesterday’s forum, I wore orange to remind myself of the responsibility I carry. As Chief in Rep. Goodwin’s office, I worked on the bill to raise the age to buy assault-style rifles from 18 to 21 and stood with those demanding change. I told them I’d be back. I haven’t forgotten, and never will.

I spent election night volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank. We passed out milk and essentials to over 1,000 families, who waited in long lines to feed their loved ones. This comes when millions have lost SNAP benefits, and a President who won’t fund them. Please volunteer if you can. #txlege
