It was Maggie Simpson, wasn't it?

Checking to see if it was still there, I presume.

I don't expect they'll be able to do so this year, but this should probably be his last season with the team.

Go Birds.

Just actual birds.

They have to be better at football than the Eagles.

Which would have the hollier, jollier Christmas.

Even with Foerster out essentially for the season, they have plenty of wingers. The better move is still to acquire another center, since basically every center we have can kick out to wing if we need them to.

I got mine for Christmas last year.

For the briefest of moments, I read that as Nate Thompson, and was about to have a coronary.

Yeah, the person that needs to go is Pegula, but they can't fire him, so round and round the deck chairs go.

Cut in during a commercial break, very serious newscaster presents the news, cut-in fades back to commercial just in time for "ba da ba ba ba, I'm lovin' it."

I wanted Philly to make a move, but we weren't going to be able to get into that ballpark without Michkov or Martone going out. Damn fine work from Minnesota.
December 13, 2025 at 1:21 AM
I don't even think that package matches what Minnesota gave up. Foerster's better than Rossi, but not a center, and Buium's ceiling is substantially higher than Drysdale's seems to be at this point. Ohgren's a better prospect than Bump, too. Our #1 would have been better, though.

And here I was waiting for ALONZ-Y!

I can't think of too many examples of this happening in Philly, but one that comes to mind is Pedro Martinez.
