if it's running on the user's hardware, an approximate decode of the latents can be pretty cheap or u can just view latent channels directly for some models. avoiding a cpu round-trip can be a pain. otherwise, u have to pull the data off the gpu and then deal with streaming latency which might suck

a tidy and literal "description in, image out" black box slop machine is not what this technology inherently *is*, it is what the industry has *chosen* to build on top of it
