With this Rendon buyout news, considering how little he played, it's actually incredible that I saw Trout, Ohtani, and Rendon all in the same lineup on April 29, 2023. It also had the most Angels scoreline. Trout hit two HRs and Ohtani went 3-5, but they lost to the Brewers 7-5.

The real selling point of baseball is that when an event happens, it just happens. If the ball flies over the wall, it's a home run. No flags, no VAR, no looking at a ref to try to determine if some issue has arisen that will nullify the result.
