That's strange people because when I ask the hotel receptionist while in lake Garda it does. She said It pays towards upkeeps and to support historic sites etc.

This is a great idea. We recently visited Italy and we paid the tourist tax at the end. More than happy to pay it as it goes into the locals.

It's utterly bizarre. The answer to the crisis is in front of them just return to the EU. It's like football creating a new football rule to help you score. Let's create a much larger goal but we keep aiming for the corner. Why???
