I follow you and @peark.es and it's fascinating to me how you tend toward the "things are going to get worse" tone and his posts are often "the data suggests things just aren't that bad, folks." Maybe I'm misreading, but that's been my impression the last 4-5 months.

It's kinda neat we're getting movies like this again. Like when Chuck Norris would headline low-budget action flicks in the '80s. But the posters/VHS covers then were better.

Six people murdered in a population of almost 3 million...I mean, I obviously wish it hadn't happened but TWO CHILDREN were murdered in Minneapolis last week and they basically ignored it entirely (aside from talk of a trans gun ban I guess?).
