Really pleased whenever i see someone has listened to Pebbles.

It is my least popular release, by some distance, but i am really proud of it. It was all v improvised and they aren’t really songs more just pieces.

I work in the language dept of a uni and decided to help one of our machines have a new home.

So ‘blue’ is now my live bandmate.

I remember one of my German coursebooks had an exercise about Suzanne Vega, which felt a pleasingly odd choice

Today’s pedal board. I have been experimenting with a new tuning for quite a heavy thing.
The chorus and flanger always stay but the other pedals rotate in and out

I haven’t quite known what to say about the death of David Lynch.
Like many cultural touchstones in my life, i owe my old bandmate Leigh for introducing me to Blue Velvet.
I think elements of his uncanny and deep rich vignettes are somewhere in my music or at least i hope they are

Cannot tell you how happy being compared to Marc Almond makes me. I have had a few Marc and the Mambas mentions and as a huge fan of Mr Almond, it always makes me grin. I bloody love Brel too. Oddly though i was going for Velvets on this track

Today is going to be a rereading day. I want a heady romantic atmosphere for the new album and so am adjusting the input materials
