IDK I'm not an expert, but it seems like the problem with gaming on the current crop of Windows on ARM devices is the Qualcomm graphics drivers, not the x86 emulation itself.

Ok wow, the remaster definitely suffers from driver weirdness. The original is straight up playable and I got a higher frame rate at a higher resolution. If you are one of the five people who were curious if Horizon Zero Dawn runs on ARM Windows, well there you go lmao.

Anyways this game is Steam Deck verified so I figure it should be within spitting distance of playable on these Snapdragon X chips if the drivers/software issues were worked out... But yeah do not believe the like 5 headlines that say WoA is ready for gaming lmao

The universe is just fucking with me at this point. Trying more games on Windows ARM, obviously I expect problems but this gave me the exact same error as I'm having on my desktop lmaoooo (yes I know this error is just the game saying "uhh the driver crashed" and the causes of the crashes are diff)

Wait, I bought my GPU at Microcenter. Does this mean I can just bring my PC in for diagnosis, tell them I'm 99.5% sure it's either my PSU or my GPU that is borked, and they'll handle the RMA? That's fucking sick, I hate to fanboy companies but I 10,000% will if that's the case

My GPU is obviously broken and I would have figured this out in month 1 if I wasn't an embarrassing moron who spent this much on a computer to play 1 (one) game with a backlog of mostly older games. TLOU II crashed on me too, in the same spot, every time. With the same error FFVII Rebirth gives me.

I picked up Doom TDA in the steam sale to have another modern, demanding game I am pretty sure is stable/had the bugs worked out to see if my system just crashes as high load (but not synthetic stress tests?) and it’s not just Halo. LO AND BEHOLD IT CRASHES.
