Music, football, dogs. Pay the artists for the art that makes your life better.
Always though it was one of the less densely packed songs. And a great tune.

I only stream music outdoors so will cue the album up on a dog walk this week.

Shall revisit the album which went many years ago in a “need money for food” purge . Always loved “Winona”

I’ve started with these two. And two cups of coffee.

Such a shame they didn’t make more records but also sneakily admire those that stop at their peak.

Yeah, it’s special. Think “Blind” is really underrated though.

Probably their finest hour (boom, tish) but love “I kicked a boy” almost as much.

It’s available on eBay and the place we all say we hate but secretly use when we have to.

My dvd player mainly collects dust these days but is a multi region one. Wonder if it’s available to buy on dvd from the US?

Was “Off your face” as great live as on the record last night? Saw them on the tour to promote the ‘Glider’ EP in 1990 but can’t remember if they played it back then.

I am planning to retire next year at 60. I’ve never had a job I looked forward to when I got up in the morning. It’s just paid for the stuff I need/want to do.

Love the intimacy of the smaller rooms but wish the musicians were getting the recognition they deserve.

And also weird seeing people playing much smaller venues.than you saw them perform in 40 years ago.

You’ve made stuff that makes people happy.

The biggest place I saw them was Brixton Academy on the Rollercoaster thingy in ‘92. I know they did a few nights at BA but pretty sure the night I was there was far from full. Blur were bottom of the bill, then Dinosaur Jr followed by JAMC. MBV headlined.

Underrated but Perfect Blue was even better live.
November 22, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Did you get really lucky and also score one of these

I have an aversion to paper hats for that very reason.
