A draft is useful for two things- showing the teacher where you are at with your learning and as a way for the teacher and others to suggest ways to improve the writing. Neither works if the teacher doesn’t read the draft and provide useful feedback

Teacher for 35 years. For most of that time you’d be risking your career if you let kids out before time- not to say it never happened but you would not announce it or name it 😂

I teach. A quarter feels right to me based on my classes. A lot of parents suddenly understand their own difficulties once a diagnosis happens. In my own family a half century of miscommunication might have been avoided.
