Asking a chatbot isn't better than nothing -- it's worse than nothing. Unless the goal isn't learning but rather "turning in assignments".

thank you! i am in remission since february of this year, and things are holding steady (not to brag, but my hemoglobin finally made it to not just cancer patient normal, but healthy person normal ✨🧿)

i’m in remission now. but i still think all the time about what it would have been like to spend my time and energy focusing on my healing, rather than begging not to be discarded.

i don’t want any worker to ever go through that again.

that’s why we need a union at CML.

one of my most vivid memories of last year is trying to type through tears and a 103 degree fever to tell them that i could not send a check by their deadline because i was in the hospital.

then they cashed all the checks at once and made my rent check bounce.

then when i started sending them checks (the only options they accept for payment are check or money order via mail) they waited to cash them for… some reason? so i would get demands for premiums i had already sent payment for, until i complained to payroll.

they also didn’t send me any information about how to pay my insurance premiums while i wasn’t receiving a paycheck (again, due to cancer treatment!) and chose instead to wait until i was in arrears to threaten to cancel my insurance, retroactive to just before the start of my second round of chemo.

my chemo was delayed multiple times (leukemia is not known for sticking to strict schedules) and the administration of the library tried to terminate me for running out of leave.

my cancer took too long for them.
