repitch elements does NOT allow for timing correction, however this can be done using other forms of editing (such as stretch markers) which are a built-in feature in most daws - resources for your specific daw can be found on youtube, just search!

why is it an upgrade from melodyne essential? repitch elements includes drift correction, which is only available in melodyne assistant and up! this lets you reign in vibrato, smooth shaky notes, and create the "tightly tuned" sound

repitch works in a very similar way to melodyne - it lets you move, split, and join notes that are detected automatically, and a primary feature is letting you "snap" notes to a grid
