If you were a social creature on Xbox Live, your days may be numbered. Microsoft have announced plans to shut down Xbox Social Clubs later this year, as users increasingly ignore the feature and turn to services like Discord. Xbox Live Clubs were announced way back in 2016, and back then the team at Xbox were looking for, in their words, "ways to bring people together and have more fun gaming." This brought along useful features like LFG (Looking For Group) but Social Clubs were aimed at bringing like-minded souls together for different things, across different games.

This week, publisher NEXON announced that their upcoming 3rd person zombie apocalypse stealth survival title 'NAKWON: LAST PARADISE' will see its first Closed Alpha Test next month on PC via Steam. If you're lucky enough to be selected, you will get a chance to experience the game and its mechanics during the Closed Alpha Test. Compared to the Pre-Alpha prototype, this version introduces enhanced survival action and a variety of life-simulation content, including a new housing system set within the apocalypse that will keep players busy. REANIMAL is out today and many players are diving in to Tarsier's new world, maybe alone, or perhaps for the first time with a friend. I had the distinct pleasure of playing through this macabre world a little bit before everyone else and came away filled with questions. Today, publisher NIS America announced that their 2D side-scrolling platforming adventure title 'The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince' will launch on PC via Steam on 11 March---with wishlisting now being available. Previously released on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles back in 2019, The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince follows the tale of two lonely hearts brought together through a mutual misunderstanding. In it, you control the wolf, disguised as a princess who guides the blind prince through a perilous forest in search of the witch capable of restoring his sight.

Today, publisher Marvelous USA announced that their action role-playing game slash life sim title 'Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma' is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles after a successful debut on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch consoles some months back. All previously released downloadable content, including the free “STORY OF SEASONS Bundle” and free “Sakuna DLC,” will also be available beginning today on their respective digital storefronts. After the events of Nod-Krai, Travelers will be beckoned home to the land of wind AKA Mondstadt, where they'll be introduced to a brand-new event hosted by the Knights of Favonius alongside the return of familiar faces. Here's a fun thought experiment for you: would you rather lose an eye or hearing in one ear? A Story? In my Monster Hunter? It's more likely than you think in 'Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection', which brings about a bit of politics into a world apparently doomed to ill omen. I spent a few hours with this game over the last week, checking out the gameplay, narrative, and seeing what's improved from CAPCOM's last entry in the series who knows how many years ago. I'm not going to bother counting anymore, I'm at that stage in life. Twisted Reflection has players take on the role of Princess (or Prince) of a kingdom surrounded by majestic, snowy mountains.
