“Helsinki hasn’t registered a single traffic-related fatality in the past year…Citing data that shows the risk of pedestrian fatality is cut in half by reducing a car’s speed from 40 to 30km/hr, city officials imposed the lower limit in most of Helsinki’s residential areas & city center in 2021.”
Helsinki just went a full year without a single traffic death
The capital city is Finnish’ed with car-related fatalities.

Another fun fact. Travel insurance may not cover trips canceled during the shutdown because it was foreseeable, even if you booked your ticket months ago. To the insurance industry, that fact that shutdowns happened 10 years ago means you should expect it could happen again.

After intense pressure including a call in campaign, Lowe’s corporate relented and began cooperating

I’m happy to say after an exhaustive search Francine has been found and headed home. 😻

While Lowe’s corporate initially didn’t want to cooperate and told local employees were told not to talk about it, they did. The community rallied and started a multi-state effort to find and return Francine home. Even the SPCA and Best Friends got involved.

Glad to know our VP was so grateful to be here and wouldn’t have dreamed of “oozing contempt” during previous administrations.

(Checks timeline) Oh…

On the subject of WHfB are there any methods you wouldn’t recommend? Are there compatible laptops with the old style fingerprint reader that was basically a scanner or is that not an issue?
