I love this and I’ll love reading it, but I had to comment now because my heart leapt at the photo! I grew up at the foot of Mt. Shasta and while I’m sure it’s hardly the Best Mountain Ever, it is certainly my favorite 😅

So beautiful! I lost my dad four years ago today. He was so supportive of my art, and I still miss him faithfully liking every post I made. 😅 I haven’t tried a direct artwork for or about him yet… I did sit down a few nights after his passing and paint. Maybe the right thing will come to me in time.
