i dont even fully remember how theo and aurora came about; but i think it was because of how me and his creator improvised their dynamic
theo is a very troubled man, struggling with both anger issues and alcohol addiction, and aurora has the patience of a saint, always willing to lend her support

aurora is of course a lop rabbit (although in lore she CAN rotate her ears, she purposefully flops them to seem docile so people leave her alone)
keira is a tuxedo cat
and roscida would be a dragon, no specific lizard comes to mind
