I’m enjoying Star Trek: Starfleet Academy so far. Does it have issues, yes, but ITS ONLY THE FIRST 2 EPISODES! Let’s give it time. Not every show of is going to be perfect out of the gate. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. 🖖

If there is one major lesson to learn from DS9, nation building is hard. We may be witnessing that is the south western hemisphere today. While regime change may be welcome after yesterday’s events, how it was done? I’m sure I’m not the only one with questions. 😢

I think I can finally say without a doubt DS9 is my favorite Star Trek show, but my favorite movie is First Contact. But don’t get me wrong, I love ALL Star Trek.

Given the Kobiyashi Maru Democrats were put I’m actually happy the moderates held out as long as they did. Now they need to beat the affordability drum loudly and enact policy especially at the state and local level that actually helps those of us doing the work of keeping the nation running.

Voting for a candidate running for an office is a job interview, and the voters are the ones hiring. The mayor’s race in NYC is turning ugly as one person’s victory looks likely. Candidates should be judged on history in office, ideas to help those they serve, NOTHING ELSE! 🖖

I have a feeling that when the pendulum swings back the other way, the up and comers who feel as I do will not tiptoe with the levers of power as the old guard did. When one side changes the rules, then they have no right to complain of the other plays by them.

So special needs teachers are being fired now, so schools can’t distribute the federal funds to those programs. WTF?!??🤬 😡

What’s happening now is the people in power are trying to punish those who either voted against them, or are standing up to them. It’s that simple. But we can and must stand up to this. Remember that here and now, it’s not left vs right anymore, it’s rich vs poor and they only want to keep scraps.

One other thing, a young man named Trey Reed was found hanging from a tree at Delta State University in Mississippi.🤬We should all be horrified by this. God be with him and his family. May those who did it be brought to justice. We must be better thank this!!

Jimmy Kimmel is the latest to loose his job to a war on the first amendment. I grew up watching leaders, both fictional and real who didn’t fear criticism. They stood up and listened so they could better serve those they had been chosen or assigned to lead. I pray those leaders emerge again, soon.😢

I’m only going to say this once, nice and loud. POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER!!! I may not have liked Charlie Kirk, or agreed with ANYTHING he had to say, but he didn’t deserve to be killed. Nor did those kids in Evergreen, CO. The problem is the gun control laws! It has to STOP!!
