like, that is absolutely NOT the case for any of the 'joke' sports like curling or horse events or whatever. there's an active curling club in Huntsville, Alabama.

like, you can't "get good at bobsledding" in your hometown and then "hope to one day make the US team."

i did like the aesthetics! sort of Flash Gordon steam-punk ish for sure, which was a bold choice. SW, of course, is the founding work of Cool Space stuff, and they instead went backwards, but ok.
