Maybe mine will be a pointless suggestion but, when i'm in art block i try to go for anything different for a change of peace o vo (tho even if is just a sketch i do like your drawn :D)

Why agonize for? I think it is good, you wanted to go for something and you make it, no harm to follow an idea and try different stuff o vo (tho can understand the agonizing feeling before try something different)
