It's strange, I really prefer the cropped versions of these. They remind me a lot of the photography in Jeff Burton's Dreamland, what with the similar colours and compositions, and the action itself happening just off-screen

If I had to guess they probably mean it was negotiated with the opposition rather than Maduro himself. That's really the only reading of this that makes sense to me
