I was reading something the other day, someone did an analysis of VB runs where the team getting run on took a time out or not.

Turns out it's statistically marginally worse to take a time out during a run. Nearly not statistically significant but still.

I get the complaints as to the ruling. But it feels like it's the same deal as when Jesse James didn't complete the process. If he got a 3rd step in he completed the process and it's a TD. He didn't so he didn't. People can believe what they want but they should feel the same about both plays imo.
