I am happy to report he is on the mend, but WTF?! He is not around kids at all and lives a somewhat reclusive life. Criminal defense attorney, though, so likely exposed by a client.

My 68 yo brother-in-law is recovering from the Mumps! You heard that right-the Mumps. He was not of age for the mandatory vaccination and I guess has been the beneficiary of herd immunity all these years, (he’s not anti-vax so not sure why he never got it later) but that’s insane!
