There’s no native way to physically connect them. Maybe eventually with an aftermarket adapter.

My NSO gamecube controller delivery was delayed till tomorrow. Now I gotta use regular gamecube controller through the USB adapter like a peasant.

Definitely. Instrument adapters are cheap and abundant. Modding tools are mature enough for us to add really interesting features to these games. Emulators and PC clones are both very stable and mostly on par with console experience.
