All of my #Slavtober pieces celebrating the strange wonders of Slavic folklore:
Week 1: Folk Traditions —> Dziady, the Forefathers Night
Week 2: Magic and Protection —> Motanka doll, Lunula and other symbols
Week 3: Mythical Creatures —> Rusalka, my beloved
Week 4: Slavic Foodie!

Happy spooky time! Here’s a couple of weird Slavic folklore creatures to give you nightmares :>

As an immigrant in the UK, I felt at times that the food I grew up eating was weird or even gross, and it took me a while to shake it off.Give me all the pickles, creamy cottage cheese, herring, rye bread, beetroot, dill and marjoram, and just about all the garlic you can carry😤 #slavtober
