I have finished watching the Netflix docuseries #SeanCombsTheReckoning and my key takeaways are 1) culturally we have tricked people into believing that money is all they need and 2) somebody need to get his sons. Also, you can be a ho and a victim and that was the case for a lot of folks.

It can't be overstated how ubiquitous pop stars were b4 socials and mainstream radio aided the foolishness that unfolded in the pop music industrial complex. This docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, is further proof that society looks the other way at sex crimes. #Puffy #Netflix #Diddy #Reckoning

Today is closing day of my play THE WASH in Chicago, inspired by the Atlanta Washerwomen's Strike of 1881. The next play in the trilogy is THE VOTE, about 33 Black men elected to Georgia legislature in 1868. This is an important read, just wish it wasn't teaching AI.

#AllsFair on #hulu is a show that truly starts at episode 4. It's like how the first three episodes of #Scandal were boring and then by episode 4 it hooks you. They need to get a more diverse writers room; I can tell who wrote it. The fashion is fantastic though. The views make you fall for LA.

Corporations beefing up security b/c they assume poor people are criminals and will rob them when SNAP benefits expire this weekend is truly crazy. Don't pay for security. Buy food. The fact that more than 10% of folks in this country can't afford to eat is horrible. Breaking food supply is criminal

It is astounding to see the resistance-to-capital-B Black to embrace of terms like "illegal aliens" pipeline emerge in traditional journalism outlets right now. On tv and in newspapers, reporters are acting like our industry didn't already address this. The terms are asylum seekers or undocumented.
