I’m dreaming of a wildly hot Christmas, just like the ones the future holds.

They are speed running a white christo-nationalist takeover. One day the name Trump will be as taboo as the swastika.

TrumpRx starts in January, and childhood savings Trump Accounts are coming too.

The federal government has borrowed $1T in the last 90 days, so I'm hoping there is a whole room full of shelves.

2.5 by '45 does sound catchy

Since you bring up veganism... Beef alternatives maker Beyond Meat's stock was $235 in 2019 and $0.86 now. Seems like an appropriate trend line reflective of society's interest in climate change in general over the same period.

Same with US oil production that nearly doubled under Obama and hit records under Biden, but Trump takes all the credit.

According to AAA regular gas is indeed $2.53 today in Oklahoma, but it was $2.57 one year ago, so you can drop the "very, very substantially" part.

Easily fixable. Round off to the nearest percent and voila, a flat trend line.
November 18, 2025 at 1:28 PM
Electricity prices are definitely higher, and as of today according to AAA all grades of gasoline and diesel are higher than one year ago.

My bronze renewal is $30,000 for a family of four.

Trump: Do you know what that means?

Reporter: That everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie?

One nation, under God, with liberty and justice for Republicans.

"Luckily" seems to imply that thankfully there is the big 90% that can positively address climate change. But aren't we doomers precisely because we see most of that 90% has their fingers in their ears going la la la la la la?

When even your clean CR is dirty.
November 16, 2025 at 4:06 PM
But for Biden, everything was his personal fault. It's not like he inherited anything, like, say, COVID!!!!????
November 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM
It's not that nobody cares, it's that we can't do a darn thing about it.
November 15, 2025 at 9:24 PM
It feels a little funny to respect all this truth she's spitting, while wondering if she thinks were supposed to just forget about what she used to be like without her addressing it at all.
November 15, 2025 at 9:14 PM
One President invites them in for refuge and assylum. And just like that the next treats them like terrorists. America may be feared around the world, but we are certainly no longer respected.
November 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM
AAA shows gas prices are UP year over year for all grades of gasoline except for Regular. Regular is down $0.004. Less than a penny, and the govt has stopped producing pennies.

"Thanksgiving Costs" = one non-comparable meal offered by Walmart
November 14, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Wouldn't that be the job of the BBA, not the SBA?
November 13, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Back of napkin. 1% die each year. 42M on snap. 400k die this year. 33k just in last 30 days. That's big number administratively probably still "on the rolls", but isn't evidence of "full of corruption".
