Glad you shared the preprint. Two species you alleged as “not previously reported as mimics” actually are widely know to neotropical ornithologists for their mimicry. They are mentioned as such since at least 1984 by Helmut Sick. It appears again in English in 1993. Please do not trust solely on BOW

Actually the idea is not so dumb. The merging of both countries should foster an even greater Canada, with 50 new provinces & territories. Canada could implement its healthcare system, enforce good gun laws and, of course, replace presidency with its
parliamentary system! 🇨🇦❤️

LC is a category as well (as is DD, EW, EX, …). Yet, only VU, EN & CR are the categories within threatened status, which would be “Red list”. Near-threatened, as the name implies, is not (yet?) threatened.

According to such misconcept, Passeriformes would be “basal”to Psittaciformes in A, but the opposite in B. Yet, both cladograms show the same relationship (they are sister orders). # of tips may result from extinction, speciation, sampling, biased knowledge, etc.

Não tem ar condicionado que dê conta. Sem falar que qualquer atividade outdoor é altamente opressora, simplesmente não dá pra fazer nada. Olhar pra essa previsão em fins de outubro, quando o início das chuvas já devia ter aliviado a temperatura, é desolador. Estamos encarcerados!
