I came across this hairy orange caterpillar with black and white markings eating one of my rhubarb leaves. I've never seen one before so I will let it live. I suppose eating rhubarb leaves makes it taste bad for the birds. 🙂 🌱

They have a whole section on Gaza on the main toolbar. It was on the first page of that. They are not ignoring the issue. Please note that Ukraine has not been forgotten either. There are other issues they need to report on too.

We had an amazing night here in the UK last year. I was lucky enough to notice it and the sky was clear for a change. Overhead it looked like an explosion of colour.

Here is my cheap way to view the sun using old binoculars.

If you want to see the sun and have an old pair of binoculars, this set-up is a safe way of seeing sunspots. This was seeing the transit of venus. NEVER look through the binoculars at the sun, or look directly at the sun without perfect condition eclipse glasses.
