This is the stance that I think I’ve fallen on with AI with a LOT of thought about why it’s so disruptive.
The powers our (constructed)world runs on - influence(with a strong bias towards recognition) and money - are consolidated through endless production of *stuff* for us to engage with

The problem is:
They ARE slop, and AI is the best slop generator we have ever seen.
I am honestly of the belief that so many of the ramifications of AI as a technology are because we, as a society, run on slop, rather than incentivizing connection, community, and quality above content/production

frustrating that this piracy discourse is the same goddamn thing every time, has been for years, while discussion of exploitation of writers by publishers tends to remain very faint. it feels like this is a frequent steam valve for frustration, a group that can be yelled at without risking jobs.

I wonder if there's a non aerosol hairspray to keep my mohawk in place. Strong enough to squish in a beanie and pop out when needed but without sticky residue, dry would be nice. Probably impossible.
Since I'd also want a refill option to be more eco friendly and bulk saving.

Just a reminder that the screening standards for giving Blood in Canada changed some years ago.
Our community is overflowing with alt/asexual people that don't bother with P-in-A at all, making certain points a non-issue.
