Ultimately, though, the problem is a society that has destroyed communities and made it so that trauma is so very easy to receive and then pass on.

There's no easy answer.

In the meantime those of us with issues from our childhood need at least some grace and understanding.

You can say "we want parents to be well educated, emotionally healthy, and well enough off they can provide for their kids" but how is that different to "the poor and sick can't have kids"?

1) pay for improved local services, better healthcare, and third spaces for children to help reduce the rate of crime
2) pay for the necessary staff to manage the existing caseload
