My plan for today was going to go over to my parents' house today and watch the season finale of strange new world. Dad loves Spock. He and I were having the best time geeking out about it.

My only wish is that we do get to share that.

My father once dressed up in a loincloth and danced around for a work event to the song "guitarzan," a song about tarzan, King of the Jungle, loved rock music.

My dad also got us into Zelda. We played A Link to the Past. I deleted his save file at Ganon. I blamed my brother and didn't tell him the truth until I was in high school.

I can't think of anything else to do. My dad was the one who got me into nerdy things. We watched a lot of Star Trek. Next Gen was a show we watched every week. Because of that, I love the stars.

I wrote rhat an hour ago without posting. Shit ain't looking good.

I have a book, and my sister is going, but it is still scary. Especially since the surgery is scheduled for later in the day and I get all day to worry.

Basically, this sucks. It is no one's fault, and everyone is doing all they can. But it sucks.

I am going to be with her, and so is my sister, but my father is not able to. He does not have the strength.

I need a distraction for tomorrow and I don't know what to do. I am going to be sitting in the hospital and waiting.
