IMO PAC-3 MSE should be seen as an alternative option for SM-6's TBMD/C-Hypersonic role more than anything else, given where it excels in performance. Let SM-2MR be the cheaper thing to kill ABT's at medium ranges, and PAC-3 MSE supplement SM-6 given rocket motor production woes.

We have ironclads with huge guns, ironclads with very thick armor but minimal coverage, or with thin but extensive armor, ironclads that launch torpedo boats, ironclads that carry an infantry division, ironclads that... *waves hands at French design practice* ...truly one of the eras of all time.
