I'm currently researching surrealist aesthetics and tendencies in contemporary world cinema. My current focus is on the Surrealist documentary of Jean Painlevé and the docufiction of Apichatpong Weerasethakul. 🎬

Last week I went to London for an interview at the V&A for a doctoral placement (and of course I explored the museum itself). Today I have been offered the placement where I'll be researching and cataloguing the Curators' Lives oral histories archive.

Thrilled would be an understatement ☺️🤭🎉
