Welcome to Here’s To You Tattoo, founded in 2018 by me, Phoebe Aceto in Ithaca, NY.
My Instagram page @herestoyoutattoo will stay up as I make this shift to Bluesky-that’s where you can see my tattoo and artworks of the past 7yrs.
So a little about me, I grew up close by in Trumansburg, NY, always artsy/never went to art school. I officially started my tattoo career in 2007, serving an apprenticeship and 10years working with James Spiers at Model Citizen Tattoo. During that time I also opened a coffee shop in the front of Model Citizen- The Shop! We had a great time and I still miss making folks coffee sometimes, but making the jump to tattooing and artwork full time was overdue! Tattooing has given me, my art and my process direction and dedication. I value every step in the process and most grateful for the people who choose to work with me. Photo by Riley Ferris The studio! Located right downtown, up of the 3rd floor of the historic Dewitt Mall. Private and appointment only, your session is yours. No walk-ins, phone calls, or interruptions. Perfect for us both to get in the zone. My little loft above the studio, where I design tattoos and make my art. I don’t work as FAST as I can, I work as GOOD as I can. To get tattooed by me it all starts with an email to herestoyoutattoo@gmail.com You will receive an auto reply with all the information on my process, what I will need from you, and how to continue! I specialize in black and grey or color, birds, botanicals/flowers, and custom tattoo design. Health and safety is top priority. I am always current on blood-borne pathogen training courses. Before and after every session I sanitize and clean all surfaces in the tattoo station and use barriers to prevent cross-contamination. Single use/sterile packaged needles, nothing past it’s expiration date, quality products and inks, and keep the studio sparkly clean. Masks are not required but always an option if it would make you more comfortable in your session, I have plenty of KN 95s.
