An Apple News card for an Atlantic story. The title, which is not the actual title of the story, is: 'A "death train" is haunting South Florida' The card Suplex from Magic the Gathering's Final Fantasy set. Its text reads: "Choose one — • Suplex deals 3 damage to target creature. If that creature would die this turn, exile it instead. • Exile target artifact. "The time has come to put my training to use!"" The art shows Sabin Rene Figaro rushing towards the oncoming Phantom Train, arms outstretched to, well, suplex the train.

Arazlam Durai, historian of Ivalice, here addressing the players in the name of History itself. History thus speaks: "i fukken told you. lol, lmao". Durai is from Final Fantasy Tactics. The image was generated using Foone Turing's Death Generator. The sentiment is entirely mine. (I made this months ago.)

Two miniatures, painted by me. On the left is a Ballbot, the somewhat idiosyncratic (that's being generous) caretakers of the Antlion-class spelljamming ship Solellis. This one has been appointed the "leader". (The model is very much not to scale-- the ballbots in general are about half as tall as this.) On the right, the model itself is Jetmir, Nexus of Revels from WizKids' Magic the Gathering line. However, I am using them as the sole survivor of the crash of the Antlion, Kulin Lolobundi. They are a felicandra, which is basically just Orange Cat with Left Tommy Wiseau Accent.

This was just before I went to the Mac for a few years, but I'm still unsurprised that most of these were Valve titles. I resisted Steam for a *very* long time, but now it's... just kinda a facet of PC gaming.

Yeah. I'm back in business.
My very messy desk, complete with my temporary game monitor on a mounted arm, with my Famicom playing 4-nin Uchi Mahjong on an Everdrive N8 Pro. There is also a desk fan, a carrying case for Magic cards, and an amateur radio control panel on the desk. It is hard to overstate just how messy this desk is. But, as messy as it is, it has my Famicom on it, and working, no less.
