As a kid, I loved the hell out of Mega Man. Played it, jammed to the 8-bit soundtrack, drew the characters a lot.
In middle school, I thought Bass & Treble were awesome, but I will never get over how the English dub in MM8 pronounced Bass like the fish.
Where was quality assurance on that one?

My most recurring role for Cyanide & Happiness has to be the notorious crime boss, Fattybones Malone.
Though his voice has kinda transformed since his first appearance in Harry the Handsome Butcher 2, he's still one of the most fun characters to perform, and I love him. I even got to sing as him!

We had a lot of pallet jacks, and some were better than others for certain tasks.
This lead to me naming them to distinguish them from one another.
So I'd customize them during downtime.
Which lead to my first writeup.
I hated that place.

Basically, it was going to be a big Smash Bros. Fantasy, with Team Mario uniting with the local villains, Starfox + Samus to quell the Xenomorph infestation. With Predator coming in at the end.

I was a Navy JROTC nerd back in high school, and I look back on it fondly. It's how my wife and I met, it's how I learned that I was a pretty good shot, and it's probably the closest I ever got to deviating from my creative goals.
It took me a very long time to be grateful recruiters told me "No."
