This is Niobe a few days after my wife rescued her when she ran out in front of the car on a busy road. We couldn't find any owner (almost certainly abandoned - we alerted the local animals in need and they found a second kitten near by) so she came to live with us.

My first accomplishment of the year - 600 days of achieving at least 10,000 steps per day. Totally arbitrary of course, but still pleased.

Took a different route than normal for my daily walk. Fields are still very wet and the weather is most unseasonal but still pleasant.

One of my favourite trees.
