I'm at least slightly aware how cool that make me sound.
I'm so excited for Fortress Fest, it's going to be amazing to finally get to hang out in person!

Hahaha, yeah those albums are so obiviously my thing.
Agreed, I've got no sense at all what have been the popular metal releases this year, very interested to see what ends up doing well in the ITC group.
Yellow Eyes are great, just didn't end up listening to it enough, same with ESOCTRILIHUM

that being said I think Mithras have been around since the 90ties as well

Hahaha, as much as I always want to hear more about Akercocke, in a way it's really nice to focus on a load of relatively newer bands.

Oh nice, that's an amazing group of bands you've selected there!

Well I'm glad I lead you to it, but I've clearly done a very bad job advertising it, I really should have mentioned it in the ITC group

Such a good band!

3 of my favourite albums with over an hour and half run time. It's a small list, but they are all very high up on it

Funnily enough I've been listening to Paysage d'Hiver today as well. I've never checked this album though

Recently I got spin kicked in the head watching a local band that sounded like newer Katatonia, I have now expected that it's reached my time to stand near the back at gigs.

Great to hear that about Wormrot, really looking forward to seeing them at the weekend!

Yeah things get really wild in that final act, was very cool to see Shinya Tsukamoto's style used for something overtly horror

Some great recommendations in this one, actually yesterday I watched Nightmare Detective for the first time because I'd added it to a watch list based on your video

They were so good when I saw them last week!
Also just so fucking cool to see them playing to a sold out crowd in a 1000 capacity venue, I love that music this weird is finding a big audience
October 18, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Oh interesting, I got into them with Värähtelijä and haven't gone back to their early stuff, will have to check the debut out

Oranssi Pazuzu were possibly the highlight of the night, they put on an amazing show.
Had a funny interaction after the show where a guy was complaining that the venue had really fucked up the sound for Oranssi Pazuzu, and I had to explain that's just what they sound like
