Parents deserve better. This session I will be working to pass free universal child care for all.

❌96% of 3-year-olds outside NYC can’t get free preschool
❌2/3 of New Yorkers live in a child care desert

The Trump intervention in Venezuela is nothing new. The United States has intervened 41 times in Latin America to change regimes. Most often, the interventions involved the overthrow of democratically elected left-wing governments and their replacement with military or right-wing dictatorships.

When an allergic reaction strikes, every second counts. That’s why I helped pass a new law that mandates insurance coverage for EpiPens and caps costs at $100 per year (Ch. 553 of 2024). Emergency medication should always be a right for all, not a luxury for some.

I had such a great time speaking with the students at Hillside Elementary School in Niskayuna and talking about how the New York State Legislature works. The questions they asked were thoughtful and curious, and showed just how engaged this group of students is.

I had the honor of speaking w/ members of our Sikh community on the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadar Ji. His courage in standing up to an emperor & defending the right of all people to practice their faith freely are a powerful reminder of the values we must continue to uphold
