There was book I read a few years ago whose name escapes me but it contained many descriptions cult traits. Many mainline denoms have subsets at least that qualify. For instance In the Catholic world the folks lusting over the pre-Vatican II liturgy often hit far more marks than ‘normie’ Catholics.
