There’s a ‘Golden Hour’ of sorts on the trains when the ambient light outside balances with the artificial lights in the carriages and you get lots of interesting reflections. Although they’ve just introduced new trains with tinted windows and the effect isn’t as good 😞

That’s not actually a double exposure, but thank you! 🙏 😊 It’s taken from the front window of the train, going into the station, the upper right (which looks like a double exposure) is actually a reflection on the window from behind me.

Here’s a little tip - it’ll guarantee your Leica will never get stolen…🤪

These were all shot at very high ISO - 12500 & 25000. Even 50,000 and 100,000 are usable.

Can’t wait to see what you do with it. The files are an absolute game changer 👌

As I said, I keep a couple in my bag for emergencies and never leave them in the camera ‘unattended’. The aftermarket battery argument will rage on forever, but in 30+ years of using them, I’ve never had an issue, or met anyone else who has. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes, loads of cheaper aftermarket ones now. I have two for emergencies and if I use them, I just make sure I don’t leave them in.

Yes, absolutely ridiculous.

The only accessories I’d recommend is a 1/8 black mist filter; this takes the ‘spank’ out of the highlights if you’re shooting in bright conditions. I also use an orange and a red filter. Also, there’s now some good quality 3rd party batteries available, save on the £155 Leica ones.

Excellent! You will love it. 👌
