I care about farming but want greater equality of approach and fairness. Whether this does it or not i will leave to the elected government. My father couldn't just leave me his businesses and likewise I can't.

I'm still not convinced. You could argue this for a lot of lifestyle businesses. Also investing in farm land to avoid CGT has made a mockery.

Not convinced. A farm is a business and so should be treated as any other IMHO.
