Do you mean the Sea Devils omnibus? I meant the War Between the Land and is This Title Ever Going to End? But I probably should have been clearer!

We let her have the smallest taste of scrambled eggs at lunchtime. She didn't like it. By dinner time, we're back to the guilt tactics.

Had planned to put up the Christmas tree today. What I'm probably going to actually do is go back to bed.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels they're Christmas films.

Justice for Fatty Bolger.

He's got my awful brother-in-law looming behind him as one of the citadel guards. He'll do that to you.

I do think RotK is the weakest, but also remember shedding tears at the ride of the Rohirrim and the beacons, and an overwhelming sense of relief that they didn't balls it up completely.

The paths of the dead stuff is tripe though.

I was admittedly the right age to get obsessed by the movies, but they do feel like they were made at the very last moment in time that something of that kind could have been done as well as that, for all their faults.

Alt text reminder back on. I don't know why it had gone off - I definitely didn't turn it off.

Damn - forgot the alt text. I thought it was meant to remind you?

Screenshot of the Doctor Who season 21 trailer, showing the always-natural-looking Anthony Ainley appearing very waxy after an AI glow-up.

I hoped that with s13 too, but it sounds like it's not (I have a backlog so haven't started that one yet). This looked at least as bad as the S13 trailer to my eye, watching on my laptop. I think I'm going to wait and see rather than pre-ordering.

These are decent figs with a hell of a lot of printing - even on the torso sides, which Lego don't do. They're just on the cusp of *too* detailed, I think, but overall they do just about fit within the Lego style. The shields have little sprue burs that need filing off.
